Market Update January 12, 2022

This week’s email will be as sparse as Gig Harbor’s current inventory. There are currently a whopping THREE existing houses for sale that have been on the market for less than a week.

There are a handful of other houses that have been on the market for more than a week, but in this market, this is an indicator of being: over-priced and/or problem properties.
If we include the Key Peninsula North (still technically Gig Harbor), inventory more than doubles (to seven!). If we include Fox Island into our count, we increase our inventory by… zero.

TDLR, if you were a buyer looking to move to Gig Harbor and are attempting to buy a house without drastically overpaying, nor looking to commute over the Purdy Bridge, you’d have three houses to choose from… and so do all your fellow buyers.
